Lisbet Sunshine (she/her) has more than 20 years of political, business, and management experience in the Bay Area. She has served as chief advocate for San Francisco State University, and directed their local, state, and federal government affairs and civic engagement. A proven strategist and coalition builder, Lisbet started her public sector career at the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. She has served under three mayors and worked for several city departments. She has a thorough understanding of how cities and politics work and understands the importance of engagement with stakeholders, community activists, elected officials and policymakers. Lisbet received her B.A. in English from Yale University. She currently serves as Chair of the Recreation and Parks Commission in her hometown of Larkspur.
